Sign the Agreement

Once you have decided to make an order, please ask for Storage Agreement. Agreement will be signed between 3 parties: the family, Future Health Technologies Ltd. (UK) and Future Health Solutions OÜ (Estonia).

Arriving at the hospital to give birth

1) tell your midwife that you have ordered the stem cell storage service.

2) notify ELUMUS consultant about your arrival at the hospital via SMS.

Wait for the results

In about 7 days, the laboratory will send you initial information about the cord blood stem cells.

In about 7 weeks, when all the tests have been done and the samples meet the requirements, the parents will be provided with a certificate

What happens in the meantime?

  • Once your baby has been delivered, a certified midwife will collect your baby’s cord blood, cord tissue and the maternal bloods and place them into the Collection Kit.
  • Your samples will be transported by contracted courier to the laboratory in Nottingham in UK, to be tested, processed and stored at Future Health Biobank.

Sign the Agreement

After signing the Agreement we will send the sample Collection Kit with detailed instructions to your address.

Collect your child’s tooth

When your child’s tooth falls out, simply follow the step-by-step instructions found within the Collection Kit. Package the tooth as instructed.

The child’s blood sample must be taken

Venous blood sample of child should be taken preferably on the same day, but definitely within the next 7 days.

Wait for the results

In about 7 days, the laboratory will send you initial information about the cord blood stem cells.

In about 7 weeks, when all the tests have been done and the samples meet the requirements, the parents will be provided with a certificate.

Important

  • Stem cells can be isolated only from the 100% healty teeth.
  • If possible, we recommend sending any of the anterior deciduous teeth. These are the 12 teeth in the front, 6 on top and 6 on bottom.
